More pictures!

Here are some new "Christmas pictures" of Addi & Elli. Yes, I'm the mom who gets pictures taken every few months. My husband thinks I'm crazy.
Addi is 2 1/2 years & Elli 4 months. Enjoy!
I was referred to Megan Taylor Photography (megantaylorphotography.blogspot.com)by a friend of mine.... and let me tell you, she does an GREAT job! She was very fast and had the pics back to me in less than three days. Check her out if you're looking for great pics.
Thanks Megan!

A little late...

I know, I know... Halloween was almost a month ago! I can't keep up with the blogger world :-)
My little Butterfly & Bumblebee had a GREAT Halloween. Addi got LOTS & LOTS of candy. She thought it was so fun to knock on doors & say "trick or treat." She still ask's me EVERYDAY if we are going to go "trick or treating" again.

Pickin' Pumpkins

We took the girls to the pumpkin patch last week. Addisen got to pick a pumpkin for each of us... even the dog. She would pick one, put it in the wheel barrel and then about 10 steps later change her mind and pick a different one. She just couldn't make up her mind.
But we finally found the "perfect" pumpkins.

"The Greatest Show On Earth"

Last Thursday Jeremy surprised us with FRONT ROW tickets to the circus! It was so much fun. It has been a long time since I've been to the circus...and I must say it has IMPROVED.

Addisen loved sitting on the front row! The Ring Master would come over and give her hi-fives and the clowns were playing and teasing her. But of-course her favorite part were the ELEPHANTS. She loved, loved, loved them! Everytime they would leave the stage she would turn to me and say "Mama, where did the elephants go?" I would have to reassure her that they would come back out in a minute..."they needed a rest."

At intermission Jeremy bought her "elephant juice"... That would be a $10 snow-cone in an elephant cup!!! However the rest of the show Addisen never made a peep. She was way more interested in her elephant snow-cone than the circus. (Jeremy and I joked about how we could of SAVED OUR MONEY by just buying her a snow cone in an elephant cup, stayed at home and watched a Dora movie.) But I think we enjoyed the circus almost as much as the kids :o)

Just in case you wanted to see what a $10 elephant cup looked like :o)

GOOD friends, GOOD food and GOOD TIMES!

Our annual girls trip was a blast! Every year we try to get together for a 'girls weekend.' It's such a nice break to feel like YOU again, with no mom or wife duties ;o)

This year we could only make it Park City because of "newborn babies" (for Lindsey & I) but it was still a GREAT GETAWAY. I'm so lucky to have such great friends! We shopped, ate great food & LAUGHED.

We missed you Mel & Beth. We'll see everyone again next year. Vegas baby!

42-21 GO UTES!

Summer is offically coming to an end.....and football season has started! The air is turning crisp, the days are getting shorter and Jeremy is ecstatic. This is his FAVORITE time of year. (Thanks to the Sunday NFL ticket.) As for me, it makes me want to crawl into bed and stay there until next May. How depressing! Fall & winter are not my favorite. However, I do enjoy going to the University of Utah football games. Our family are BIG FANS! And this year we have a new lil' fan.... Addisen. We took her to the first home game on Saturday and SHE LOVED IT! Thank you to Jeremy for buying us all new Ute apparel. I must say, Addi looks so dang cute in her cheerleading outfit. And she kept asking if she could go down on the field with the cheerleaders. She wanted to "jump" with them. Jeremy asked her is she wanted to be a cheerleader when she gets big and she said "yes, yes daddy." Then he preceded with, "that's fine as long as it doesn't interfere with your basketball, soccer & softball." What a 'guy' thing to say :-)

This season will even be more FUN... my parents bought season tickets also!

Addi "hi-fiving" everyone after each touchdown! She was very busy, since they did score 42 points.

Enjoying her red vines..... And sharing with Grandpa.

Hiking in Big Cottonwood Canyon

Now the weather has cooled down we've decided to go hiking. Jeremy first did a 'trial' hike with Addisen to Moss Ledge to see if she would like it....and SHE LOVED IT. Mostly because she got to play in the water with her shoes on.

So a few days later we all hiked Donut Falls... It was so nice to get out for fresh air & get some excercise!
